SJØBLOMSTEN will from the spring 2023 have main port in Nyksund. In addition, we will offer fishing trips from other ports in Vesterålen. During the WM in Skreifiske (cod world championship), will we have Svolvær as main port.

Short fishing trip to Øksnes
The fishing trip can be in the Prestfjorden, Gåsøya, Nyksund, Stø area depending on weather and where we find fish. Totally around 3 hours.

The fishing trip can be in the Sortlandssundet/Gavelfjord depending on weather and where we find fish. Totally around 3 hours.

Longer fishing trip to Øksnes
The fishing trip can be in the Prestfjorden, Gåsøya, Nyksund, Stø area depending on weather and where we find fish. Totally around 4-6 hours.

Historical Cruise Vestbygda in Øksnes
Historical whole day Cruise Nyksund/Myre to Skipnes and back. We will sail between several skerries and islands, straits and fjords in the beautiful nature of Øksnes-Vestbygd with smaller farms and fish villages. We stop in the historical fishing village of Skipnes for lunch/dinner. Totally around 7-8 hours.

Historical Cruise to Øksnes Breistrand
Historical Cruise Nyksund/Myre to Breistrand/Øksnes and back. We will sail through parts of Prestfjorden to Øksnes. The passengers will disembark in Øksnes.
At shore
Walking past the old Øksnes Church, built in 1703 with timber from around 1500. It is also possible to visit the church if agreed beforehand. Than walking on an gravel road that takes you along the coast between bushes, trees and houses along the beautiful coast line about 2000 meters until you end in the old fishing village, Breistrand with some buildings dating back to around 1750.
“Sjøblomsten“ will wait for you in Breistrand and you will enjoy on-board lunch.
Next, sailing between the coast of Langøya and Reinøya/Prestfjorden and back to Nyksund/Myre. Totally around from Nyksund 4,5 hours, Myre, around 3,5 hours.

Seal and Bird Safari
Just north of Nyksund and outside Stø is Anda Lighthouse.
On the way and at the Anda, you can meet a large number of birds. black-legged kittiwake, Puffins, Razorbill, black guillemot, cormorant.
During the voyage among the skerries we will pass the natural habitat of seals. The sea eagle is not far away.
